About us

The Climber is an Education Startup that helps students discover and pursue their Passions through MyCaptain and large city wide Youth fests, summits and bootcamps.
MyCaptain by The Climber is an Online platform that helps you take the first step in your field of passion with the help of young achievers, mentors and guides.
We are focused towards the United Nations SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) especially SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals.

Our captains are under the age of 25 and have gone through the same journey these students wish to undertake. They are published authors, young entrepreneurs, investors, award-winning film makers, journalists, designers, developers etc. A student who wants to write a book gets mentored by a young published author. A student who is passionate about entrepreneurship is mentored by founders of startups.

At MyCaptain we connect School and College students to young Achievers(Captains) in their field of passion. We mentor students through month long online courses where they experience the basics of a field in a practical and guided manner. The students also join a community of like minded individuals from all across the country, attend MyCaptain meetups, events and get internship opportunities.

Our Founders

Captain Mohammed Zeeshan

Co Founder & CEO

Zeeshan is a Social Entrepreneur, Co-Founder, and CEO of The Climber. His journey began almost half a decade ago when he first decided to take the startup plunge. He also features in BW Education 40 under 40 List of 2020. Zeeshan is a GSEP scholar, 4 times TEDxSpeaker, and consults NGOs on sustainability. So far he has mentored over 1000 students in Entrepreneurship, some of whom have gone ahead to win B-plan competitions, while others have started up and have well-working businesses right now!

Captain Sameer Ramesh

Co-founder & CPO

Sameer is the Co-founder and CPO at The Climber, and is very passionate about new products and innovations. Sameer has a keen interest in technology platforms and network effects. Apart from this, he is also a TEDx speaker and a HarvardPAIR delegate.

Captain Ruhan Naqash

Co-founder & CMO

Ruhan is a first generation Entrepreneur, the Co-Founder and CMO of The Climber. He has been mentoring some student run start-ups at an individual level for 3 years now and has helped them out with Business Models, Sales Channels, Customer acquisition, Marketing etc. Ruhan has also been leading the Marketing team of MyCaptain for the past 3.5 years now and has mentored over 500+ students in Digital Marketing from all across India.

Captain Fatema Hussain

Co-founder & CDO

Fatema is a designpreneur whose guiding principle in design is to bring social change. In her quest to help people understand Design and its future. She has mentored more than 1000+ students, some of them have gotten into Design school while others are working actively in the various fields
